Very durable pot holds heat for long time.
It’s made well, and the wood base is great to pit it anywhere while it cools down.
It's now rust free and properly seasoned and i've even used it a couple times to make garlic confit.
Anyway, tl;dr - good quality pot, low quality wooden base.
Price
Then they raised the price offering a black friday discount of $18.
On october 27, 2023 just a few months ago this was $16.
Although the product is nice, it’s very overpriced.

It looks great next to my range beside my george foreman which i cook bacon in.

I preseason this and put it in the oven for two hours at 100° with oil in it

So ive never used cast iron before and didnt know how to treat it properly it came with a bit of rust so it wasnt preseasoned and then i made the issue exponentially worse by throwing it in the dishwasher but then i looked online how to handle that and now its in perfect working order

I did take off a star for the wooden base though its very cheap and despite being careful with it and not exposing it to extreme temperatures it still cracked down the middle just from the cast iron pot being seated on top of it

I wanted to save on space and i also thought it would protect the pot and cabinet from getting scuffed or risking rust but that alone was enough to crack the very flimsy wood

Planned on getting several more as holidays gifts but no longer will purchase any more from this seller
