Pros

The dishes are dishwasher and microwave safe. They have a fluted design at the inside bottom of the dish (what looks like a sort of sunburst or chrysanthemum design) the glaze has a high shine, which i love.

The cereal bowls are notably deep, which may be a personal preference. The weightiness speaks to the quality of the ceramics used. The pasta and salad bowls come with a large plate and dessert plate.

Cons

The glaze cracks almost immediately and the bowls get mold/mildew even after letting them dry completely in the dishwasher. Plate shattered after being in the microwave for 3 minutes. Salad plates show degradation of glazing also.

Just repackage it all back up and return to amazon. They win because i simply do not have the time nor interest in repackaging and returning. They said they would offer a 50% refund if i returned the entire set to them.

I've been impressed with how sturdy they are.
