And even ordering a couple of sets that looked good on paper thanks for amazon free returns i almost gave up entirely in utter frustration on what seemed a futile attempt to find something that my wife would like

Just out of the blue or perhaps not seeing the gibson mattice red set after looking at so many other dinnerware sets i noticed it and it really caught my eye

Luckily it seems they were available at an amazon distribution center here in central florida and we got them in 2 days

To be sure as good as they look they are not perfect

There a few blemishes on the glaze like very little bubbles and irregularities on the painted areas but certainly much better than other gibson sets that we sent back

Also one the small dessert plates has an unsightly blemish on the paint design smack in the middle of the piece

As soon as we get the remaining two incoming sets we will be contacting gibson oversea to ask for replacement pieces as needed
