Since my dad didnt install it into a stud they dont plan to use it for towels as they worry it wouldnt hold that much weight but i feel that if he had searched for a stud and anchored it they would have been fine

It is all plastic and just installed recently so cant speak to longevity but does have a 1yr warranty through gideon
