Competitiveness
Using this to double up on two devices at the end of a single cat6 poe run.
It is also useful that this extender supports 1000mbps ethernet as many poe switches only support 100mbps transmission rates.
I have not tested this as a poe injector using a 48v power supply, nor do i intend to (that's not the design of my network).

You can even add a power supply not included to make a standard ethernet into poe
