On initial setup and while in bios the boot light remains on, seems to be normal and goes out when operating.
This was my first pc build and got it as part of a bundle with an amd ryzen 7 57003xd cpu.

I definitely would have went with an asus tuff board instead if it wasn’t cost prohibiting.
