Pros & Cons
Pros
Free-sync works very well even with my 2060 super. No dead pixels and 144hz @ 3440x1440p is amazing. Beautiful graphics, good refresh rate.
Really good monitor especially at msrp or lower. Man does this monitor really shine. I use this monitor for not only gaming, but mostly for productivity and for this it works well.
Easy to setup. Displayport 1. Is fully customizable. Easy to learn and manage, but a remote would be a great addition.
The curvature allows the user to fully integrate themselves in the screen and not feel burdened by its size. If utilized for gaming, the g34wqc 34 has lots of screen space.
I'm a lefty and really appreciate when they design that toggle to be on the bottom of the monitor. Only downside for me is the single button and placement, it's very loud and clicky. Only gripe is the screws for the vesa are nonstandard and strip the ... Read More
Cons
The menu screen in the lower right corner continuously, rapidly flashes, constantly. The single cheap thumb stick is useless and doesn't work when it is continuously flashing, which is always.
Highlights
Quality
Amd free-sync works very well even with my 2060 super.
Its paired with a gtx 1080 ti and the gsync works fantastic.
Weird spotlight honestly as it's not in line with the actual power toggle-button.
For $500 a pop, pretty poor quality control.
Price
Great for gaming and the price is not bad neither .
I was pretty settled on a very well known brand, but wasn't sold on the stand and the cost.
Cost me $122 at ups with insurance, used original box to ship it.
Shipping
They guy was super helpful, immediately approved rma and sent shipping info took about 2 weeks from when they received it.
They replaced the led panel, am now happy again, it is a fine monitor, but i still think they should pay shipping both ways or ... Read More
Did an rma, and 2 things- no prepaid shipping.
Packaging/appearance
There is a joystick/toggle of the back of the screen you navigate all settings with.
Mine didn't have any pixels stuck or dead and the packaging must be pretty good because my box was jacked up but the monitor was unharmed.
Was initially on back order and came in a month ahead of time.
Competitiveness
If you’ve been searching for hours for a 1440p ultra wide that’s not over $1,000 this is the one to get.
Came from a 144hz 1440p to this ultrawide and the extra space is great.
4 display port for full 144hz resolution.
If you're like me and love gaming but you're not insanely picky or critical over how perfect your display is, but you would lik... Read More
