Overall, great price for a solid sli capable board.
This is a budget z97 board, with plenty of great features.
For the 100 bucks i paid its a fine board.
Cons: might not be worth risking the issues many users are getting at the current price point of $120.

It seems quality assurance must be an issue with this particular model though gigabyte is usually renowned for their high quality boards and quality checking

It is possible that amazon just stocks a poor batch of these boards as i have tried several gigabyte boards in the past from local retailers and have never had a problem

Like with those boards i did not purchase this one from amazon as a local computer store sold it at a much much better price as a part of a cpumotherboard bundle savings deal

At this price point on amazon around 120 at time of this review i believe you might find better options such as the gigabyte z97x gaming series most likely gaming 3 at this price point or something from asus

Note this card does not support triple or higher sliim not an expert in computer building so many of these features seem very basic and universal but youd be surprised at how many older and cheaper cards dont even have features like native usb 3

But in conclusion from what i am reading many other reviewers on amazon are claiming issues such as doa and sound issues so at the current cost of 120 i might not recommend this board from amazon as it seems to be having issues for many users
