Dram matters this card with good ram in main board and minor oc from its defaults performs like a 3090.
After adjusting fan to flow over card back side the card fans rarely even speed up even at 4k.
All of the cooling issues with the cooling contacts have been resolved with the q2 2022 units.
Price
If you can get it for a price you are comfortable with, it does everything you could want it to do at 4k and below
Keep an eye out for any price reductions!
Even when it was "on sale", tax offset the discount by a large margin.

Competitiveness
This aftermarket gpu has amazing thermals with its patented fans and is better than the blower designed.
Like every other graphic card on the market, way above msrp.

Unless you do not have airflow on backside of card it will get hot it was hot to touch
