If the connector hadn`t been l-shaped it would have been ok, but to change that means changing the case, and the case is fine.
Just a power supply with a higher wattage.

If you wish to game then adding a discrete graphics card give you more flexibility however you should always check game recommended specifications to ensure it will meet your requirements
