Quality

I had a nightmare of a time with the thunderbolt add-in card, and the bottom line is this is a badly designed board.

So far i have had little to no problems with the general operation of this mobo.

I replaced this motherboard with the asus x99-a.

Competitiveness

So if you don't have 2-3 days of time to waste and still want x99 chipset my advise would be to stay away from that board and go with asus.

I use a samsung 500gb ssd, which is a game-changer when it comes to perceived performance gains.

0 usbthe usb issue has been resolved.

I got into the bios after figuring out it was my thumb drive plugged into the front that was causing this issue before you say its trying to boot off stick it doesnt even make it to the boot section this is on the post screen

The thumb drive now works in the front but my card reader doesnt work correctly on normal settings the system will post crash once on diag code 92 then boot up normally

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Menu the board fails to boot it just boots up and crashes at bios code 92 then reports boot failure detected afterwards because the bios assumes that you the user made a mistake in oc but actually it is because of the usb 3

To wrap it up dont buy this board if you want to have a usb 3 card reader or a printer with a card reader built in
