This monitor is amazing; fast refresh, perfect colors, incredibly sharp and very bright.

I recently purchased the gigabyte m27q-pro gaming monitor, and it has been a fantastic addition to my gaming setup.

With ambient lighting around me, the monitor still feels bright at zero brightness.

It's worth noting that this can apparently only be done from windows, which is a pain if you are trying to connect a macbook via usb-c.

Price

I purchased it and tried it out and suffice to say, it is a great monitor for the price (if you buy it for around $300).

100% worth the ~$400 cad that i paid for it, this monitor is awesome for competitive gaming as well as general use.

All of these qualities will probably make this monitor perfect for you as well (if you buy it at around $300).

My unit had a pretty noticeable light bleed but i am not returning it as i cannot find a better monitor for that price.
