Pros
The osd is a bit tricky. The joystick menu button on the back is great. It supports g-sync. The monitor includes a usb type a cable to go to your pc which enables you to use the osd sidekick software.
Replaced a 32 odyssey g7 with this. This is my first foray into buying a large monitor and i have always used traditionally sized monitors. K resolution is fantastic, text is very clear.

The speakers you get with this monitor are practically useless. The energy rating is a g which isnt great but most monitors seem to be g. I bring this up just as i've asked amazon to issue me an rma, and to note if they do relist it that it has a dead... Read More
Everytime monitor is switched on & it turns to hdr mode its brightness goes to blinding 100% and everytime you have to set it back to previous settings manually. Huge backlight bleed, over time the backlight on these monitors bleeds into the image... Read More

After doing a lot of research on 4k monitors i settled on the m28u and the panel colour, image and build quality is excellent.
Overall, the image quality is pretty good, and the 144hz refresh rate is brilliant when gaming.

Definitely recommended if you don't want to spend over £1000 for a higher quality option.

The panel has amd freesync and this runs perfectly and with no issues with hdr calibrations.

It’s not priced much more than a good 1440p gaming monitor and i find that the 28” is ample and actually feels a lot bigger.

If you want a hdr10 panel then you’ll have to pay hdr10 money at silly prices and if you want all singing dancing then go for an oled but again you’ll be paying silly prices for a while

The connections at the back are clearly marked and the back of the panel looks impressive not that you’ll really see it

The image quality could be slightly better its not the best out there you get what you pay forthe hdr 400 isnt the best but its 34ok34the brightness is adequate but not overly impressive

Even i can overclock to 160hz which i tried and worked just fine with my gaming rig

Although its not oled and has not got the best hdr rate will do the job if you have a beefy gpu to run 4k games
