Pros

Gigabyte z790 motherboard goes on sale for just over a quarter of the price. Fast startups are a feature that you absolutely need to have on your build then you definitely need to look elsewhere.

Great backdrop for the rgb lightshow in my corsair 4000d (black) case. Seems good quality, seems good quality. Other than that, no complaints. Corsair.

The bios was shipped with f6 and subsequently updated to f8f. When you flash the bios with the new version from the usb, it backs up your current bios to the usb.

Cons

The bios setup leaves a lot to be desired in clarity for the end user in many other areas. After spending over an hour trying to find a usb 2. Port, it’s now 2am and i have to cut my losses and wait the week for another motherboard to arrive.

Ordered the z790 aorus elite ax ddr4 (ddr 4 is not a typo)4.

But if you’re going to make a beefy build make sure the quality of all parts of it are just as high end.
