Other colors have various mixes of polyester and cotton. After a year they still look good unless it's one i've deliberately abused. The color still looks good and has not faded much.

Long sleeve white t-shirt is the best/coolest solution to protect yourself from the sun. When it's not so sunny and much colder this is the extra layer that keeps me warm. Also, it protects me from the sun.
