Pros & Cons
Pros
Imho the tincture has a slightly sweetish taste that def makes it more palatable than fresh or crystallized ginger. The flavor reminds me of when i make my own ginger tea with fresh ginger and honey.
It's very easy to use by itself or mixing it into water or juice. Easy way to add to smoothies or teas etc. Sometimes it’s hard to obtain any or i’m too lazy.
Price is decent for the quantity. The presentation/language is of good quality.
Cons
Added sugar is unnecessary/unhealthy. Not as concentrated/intense flavor as expected.
Highlights
Quality
Seems to be quality stuff after taking it for a few weeks.
The dropper is high-quality and sucks up a good amount of ginger with one squeeze.
Says it is mfg 'for' the company in california usa, but not where it is actually made.
The main bioactive compound in ginger is gingerol, which is known to battle inflammation and some forms of chronic pain.
Price
At current price of ~$18, i rate 4-stars in consideration of price/value/choices.
The bottle size is generous and affordable.
99 is a very good price point!
It is a great value for the length of time that it last.
Packaging/appearance
It also has the proper fda disclaimer on the packaging.
It came sealed well and nothing leaked out.
The bottle came well sealed and has a long expiration date (03/2026).
This bottle of ginger extract packs a punch, with very fragrant and flavorful ginger for use in a drink.
Competitiveness
I’ve tried a couple of different brands and this one beats them all hands down.
For comparison, 500mg of ginger powder is quite potent and something you can feel immediately after taking.
I enjoy the tincture more than the pills as i enjoy the taste (i add to juice or tea), and find that i have no heartburn in comparison.
