Wore it a few times in snowy conditions with a thin balaclava that covered my ears so my head and ears were warm all day but without the balaclava i think my ears might have gotten cold
Be careful what goggles you wear though
Great helmet for the price ear pads also have the option to put in headphones but you may as well just wear earbuds
