Pros & Cons
Pros
Giro bravo and pearl izumi elite gloves are about the same. Great construction and great padding, especially the gel padding in two places on the heel of the palm. Adjustable velcro closure on wrist opening.
The gel is amazing and stays comfortable for 50+miles at a time. No more numbness or pain. These are great for the fitness (not competitive) rider.
Lightweight with good cushioning. Good padding and easy to put on and remove. Padded in all the right places for mountain biking.
They are decently priced, look decent, and seem to work so far. Solid stitching and seem durable. Can't yet comment on 2 important durability and colorfastness.
Size runs true. The fit is snug. Xl fits well, but is a little difficult to put on and take off.
Cons
They include literal suede, no actual gel padding, really thick cloth, are exceptionally hot and the "white" that i ordered began to wipe off within 10 minutes of a ride. In less than 6 rides the seam on my right hand palm split open. The inside fabri... Read More
The gloves are not made for a cyclist. The velcro clasp is on the back of the hand rather than underside of the wrist. The gloves run small.
Highlights
Quality
No major issues with the quality and comfort of them yet.
I like them on the road with the palm pads.
Decided to try the giro strade and was pleasantly surprised.
Shipping
In any event the return and refund were easy and quick as was shipping.
Competitiveness
This is my first pair of cycling gloves along a new ebike journey so i can’t give any advice on how good this brand is compared to others.
I have found it to be an ecellent glove--well-padded but fits well.

You dont want hand problems because of cheaping out on gloves that may look good but dont protect your hands adequately or cause you to constantly fiddle with your hand and glove position

The only addition i would like to see for these gloves is finger loops to pull the gloves off
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Without finger loops you have to grab and pull the reinforced areas of the fingers and thumb then push the wrist part down and then back to a finger or two and the glove will come off without damage

My first note is to be wary of reviews telling you they run small

I normally wear a large and saw some people advising to size up
