This helmet has to be one of the best i have ever owned. Took it out for a spin today.
This is my second giro synthe helmet, but the first mips equipped one. Color is great looking (matte black). Exactly like the description and picture. Love the color / design.
Cons
The mips design is defective. Way over-priced. Giro needs to wake up and fix this design flaw.

I am very impressed with the fit and quality.
And so far, i am very pleased with the fit and comfort of the helmet.
I was not very impressed with the looks and colors of many of the expensive helmets.
Did extensive research on cycling helmets and decided to go with the synthe.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was good to ensure that the helmet arrived in perfect condition.
Great helmet, perfect fit right out of the box.
There are two holes in the front that are designed to hold sunglasses.
Competitiveness
One of the best helmets on the market.
Lastly, we feel it's a bit over priced.
I ordered this as a replacement of an older synthe model.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that a 250 helmet should come with spare padding

The only thing it does not have compared to prevail is the impact alert but my gamin and strava have it didnt want another thing i have to charge before ride
