I have been leaving it on longer than the 20 minutes though usually between 3060 minutes but i also dont use the heat while it is on as they recommend so i figured leaving it on longer might help replace the added heat

It does seem to only last until the next shampoo but that makes sense it is not a long term keratin treatment
