Competitiveness

Far superior to other options i’ve tried.

I purchased another larger one from a competitor and i can honestly say i’m sorry i did.

The fourth pic shows saferacks (left) and gearloft (right) side by side.

I bought both brands because neither brand had all three sizes, and i needed all three.

So i had to search for the joists with a stud finder

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I had to use the perpendicular ceiling rail configuration

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

But the instruction booklet was rather vague on how to attach them to the ceiling joists

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Since the rails are 24 inches long and the joists are spaced 15 inches apart this will not work

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Also by using placing the lag screws as illustrated in the booklet the ceiling rails will not provide maximum strength

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

So i advise installing the lag screws 15 inches apart to give you them more strength and line up with the ceiling joistwhen you have a plaster board covered ceiling you have to hope the joist are evenly spaced

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The joist in my ceiling were a little off so installing the ceiling rails was more challenging

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Unevenly spaced joist will affect your measurements and require you to adjust where you insert your lag screws
