It is well worth the cost over protectors that are of inferior quality that when applied is harder then heck to get all bubbles out

When you are protecting gear that cost several hundred or thousands of dollars it only makes sense to me to spend the extra to protect the lcd screen

Touch screen is just as sensitive and responsive with the glass as it was prior to installing

I followed a similar procedure to install this one on the g7x mark ii however the g7x mark ii video screen doesn’t have sufficiently deep bezels around it so the expert shield glass has no effective stop and tended to slide off the g7x mark ii screen during my practice installations

Before removing the plastic protector from the glass gel layer i practiced multiple ways to attach the glass using double sided tape and bluepainter’s tape but the glass would not fall into place perfectly aligned

With the suction cup placed squarely in the middle of the glass protector screen i was able to precisely place the glass on the g7x mark ii’s video screen several times in practice mode

Initially that left what appeared to be an air bubble the size of the suction cup but i quickly pressed that from the center to the edges and within just a few seconds it disappeared entirely

After the glass was installed there were four places around the edges and corners which clearly were not dust bubbles or air bubbles
