After practicing on a glass window it became obvious that it wasnt removing the scratches and it was leaving a haze

The felt pad doesnt really begin to cut until it has been loaded with compound and run in for a few minutes

I found that 140 deg f surface temperature seemed to promote the quickest polishing but i didnt exceed 140f

There is very little overspray when you use minimal water to reactivate the pad

During the whole process i charged the pad with 3 pea drops a dozen times or so

You dont need very much compound

Also i ran the drill at 2500 rpm and worked in 334 × 634 areas moving to cooler areas to let the glass cool to 120 deg f before returning to work on those areas
