Hard to clean without a brush but i put i sponge in and use a fork to move it around

Has a few downsides the lid comes with a little piece of paper at the top which will get moldy if you have it wet for too long

I used a butter knife to pop it out and the lid is much more sanitary

It is also difficult to pour from leaks very easily down the side of the jar if you dont immediately dump its contents out

Finally you need a special bottle brush to clean it a sponge will not reach the bottom and your hand will not fit inside
