I will say they were a little hard for my husband to install them but only because the outlets are almost in the middle of the island and he couldn’t get directly under them he had to do it at an angle

Be aware that the base is fairly small and if the hole in the ceiling was not cut perfectly around the can it will not cover it

I really liked the lights but the top trim is just a little small and does not cover a standard ceiling box so you see a slight edge of box
