Pros
The smart switch works very well, even in canadian winter temps. Much nicer to use than a mechanical or dusk-plus-hrs timer. Wanted an outdoor switch for some seasonal lightning. Great tool for turning on our block heaters.
Saves lots of time and forgetting. Once you understand it’s a piece of cake.
Cons
Globe plug simply would not connect to my wifi. Works on some routers wifi bands but not on my amazon eero router.
Not much can withstand -30c or -40c, but i would think they could handle the meager -20ish that is common in a canadian winter. That's now relegated to christmas lights and will probably go in the garbage this year.

I do like the product construction and the app allows great control over independent outlets the two devices i have.
Quality and easy to program with iphone
One star is held back because the wattage could be more robust by using a heavier gauge circuit connection inside its board.
But, at -30°c it no longer works.
Competitiveness
Other brands may be a few bucks less but i already had globe stuff so went with this.

But thankfully there is a manual push button to turn both outlets onoff at same time which is an override to using the app
