The glocal fixes my petty gripes. This little device works amazingly!
Glocalme is a data hotspot for canada. Purchasing data can be done through the glocal me app. Only issue was when we ran out of data my wife had to turn device on and off to activate the new plan.
It is light and small enough to tuck into a medium size purse. Easy to set up and to use. Comes with 8gig local and 1gig global.
Cons
Not easy to use, and was not connecting to wifi. Do not want it. It is far cheaper to use the hotspot on your phone. Court issues injunction to glocalme, ucloudlink to stop selling its devices in skyroam patent infringement case’.

Price
We are online a lot, so others might get better mileage out of their data package than i am, but it's the price i pay to be connected.
Shipping
The high speed was faster than my bell high speed at home.
The internet was fast but the packages can get expensive.
Competitiveness
It’s not as fast as my bell fibe connection, but i was able to upload a 500mb video to vimeo in under 10 minutes.
Although the packages are expensive (compared to similar competitive products) the speed and stability can not be beat.
The other closer competitor is roam mobility, but their prices and data are a bit on the high side.
I could probably get a t-mobile data plan sim, but the ease of pay through the glocalme site probably won't tempt me to fill in... Read More

I am with bell canada and while they offer a roam at home plan that uses my large data plan the price per day kept going up and up and it seemed that by nov 2019 of this year theyll cap the high speed data to 500mbday and then slow speed afterwards

It has the latest firmware to circumvent skyroams patent which ucloudlink lost to in the patent infringement

Obviously glocalme doesnt work in the ocean so you need to wait till you are close to land to get some form of connection

I could probably get a tmobile data plan sim but the ease of pay through the glocalme site probably wont tempt me to fill in that empty slot for short hop days in the usa
