Thumb release is natural and fluid releasing the firearm to slide out of the holster effortlessly.
The third time i wore it the hinge broke!
It stayed snug to my hip enough that it did not snag on anything while i was getting in and out of vehicles.

You will not get that issue with this holster as its active retention and you press a lever with your thumb which feels super natural as you go to get your grip to unholster

I would suggest adjusting the cant where you want it and then simply loctiting the screws as well as adding a dab of super glue to the hex bolt head where it meets the plastic so that it will not move there either

My only concern is the locking design it is quite small and doesnt look very robust

I plan to use this holster for shooting drills and i do not know how well the holster will hold up to running sliding and generally abusing it

Of course the 34return window34 had closed long before i decided to retire the older one and replace it with the newer one aside from inspecting it postdelivery
