    After plugging in the ac power adapter the camera turned on then off

    One note thats probably obvious but took me a moment to realize the cover for the battery compartment of the camera at least for my t1i needs to be closed in order for it to work

    Theres a tiny cutout normally filled by a rubber tab through which the power cord can run
