I paired this with the oem nikon battery adapter.

But this ac power connector mates perfectly with the oem part, and saves quite a bit of $$$ over the nikon ac part.

Just got it so not sure about long term quality, but the unit has a solid build.

The battery adapter is chipped, so third party adapters are hit or miss with the latest camera firmware(d500).

This can be very frustrating when i am needing to take a shot for an appraisal of a new ring and the shipping deadline is minutes away.
