Pros

Bought to fix the coolant light on my 2017 3500hd. There were 2 hoses to disconnect, 1 bolt, and the sensor connection.

Extremely easy to install. No issues with installation. Easy to install with the help of a u tube video.

This tank is awesome! Very heavily constructed and a perfect fit. Fit my 2018 duramax perfectly.

Replaced stock unit that had a leak and a bad sensor.

It is a horrible design with an inside portion of the tank that cannot be accessed but needs to be filled to activate the fill sensor.

Price

I saved $300 by not having shop do the install and using their part.

Easy to put in and good price.

Immediately resolved the error message that my coolant was low, and i didn’t have to pay $250 in labor!

Part came in a gm box marked with the gm part number.

My first surprise when i opened the amazon carton was the inside box sealed with "genuine gm parts" on the tape.

Competitiveness

I purchased an import brand from rockauto and the inside compartments were not connected and flowing into each other.

The $99 price compared to the $650 price plus labor from my local chevrolet dealer made the purchase a no brainer.
