Pros

Only real flaw i can find in the working unit(besides taking 2 tries to get one -ahem, shipping and packaging department, ahem) works beautifully with my aging dell precision m6400. Fills the expresscard slot nicely, flush with the laptop base.

I know it's not full usb 3 but it's pretty darn good compared to what i had. Overall good value for the money and works for my purpose. Copy file from one usb 3.

Win10 does not require any additional drivers for this card, it incorporates them. Using with windows 10 with zero troubles. Controller drivers version 3. Controller firmware version 2.

Cons

When inserting a usb cord into the ports i noticed that one of them arrived dented already. That tells me that it does not fit right in my express slot. Also problematic is there is no instructions of any kind.

Bad experience, documentation is deplorable. Waste of money.

This device gets terrible throughput. If i use both ports at the same time, it disconnects. The adapter fails to work at all because it doesn't fit the slot very well and fails to maintain an electrical connection.

It was cheap enough, that next amazon order, i decided to try again.

For the price, it's worth it to add usb 3.
