Pros

The go ferment glass fermentation weights are a fine product proudly made in the usa. It weighs sauerkraut down, keeping it in its brine while it ferments. Required step in fermenting is to completely submerge your ferment.

Only complaint i have about this purchase is the overkill packaging. They are packaged beautifully and would make a great gift for a fermenter.

The glass is clear and smooth, with no bubbles or rough spots. It's well designed and aesthetically pleasing. I feel so strongly about supporting our manufacturing small companies here in the us, that this one factor is of utmost importance.

These are super sanitary and can be used in any type wide mouth jar. Fit perfectly in tall, wide mouth mason jars just perfect! Theses are easy to clean, heavy, and are the perfect size for wide mouthmason jars!

Cons

They advertise that each disc weighs 6. They are just a piece of thick glass that holds fruit below the waterline.

A little pricey, but these glass weights are good quality and they fit nicely in my wide mouth jars.

At first i thought they were on the expensive side, but they are the cheapest i could find and in the long run worth the money.

Packaging/appearance

They are easy to store, too, because the packaging was designed with storage in mind.

Love the packaging and they are perfect for my mason jars.

The packaging is a bit difficult to pull the glass weight out of its hole.

Only complaint i have about this purchase is the overkill packaging.
