For me they are about and inch and a half under my belly button. They fit comfortably, i feel confident on my heavy days wearing them. Only thing i don't like is the high waist and the mesh band.

I barely notice what they're doing and the moisture-wicking is excellent. I do occasionally feel a rustle when i'm moving in the * area. A mover wakes up to messy pants or sheets. Best most absorbent * ever.
Cons
It is so easy to put a hole in these things. It’s cute, but totally impractical. I really wish they had another brief style without the mesh paneling. Ordered up from the recommended size and still didn’t fit over my gut.
