Simple design, easy to install, boot right up.
Seems to be built well and performs extremely well.
At least for these drives, the interior fit is so tight that you can easily scrape off the label or even some of the metal of the shell.
Result: the disk goes into the enclosure, but it is nosier than the one i got with the proper disk fixing strips.
Price
Having done that, i proceeded to buy two more of these enclosures as they are a bargain.
I am using a 14tb sas drive i got from newegg for $90 for a master backup so it doesn't stay online a lot.
If it works for six months i will give it five stars because it works as intended and has an awesome price.
Work ok and stable and good price.
Packaging/appearance
I did not receive a left and a right in the package, only two of the same side.

There is a left and a right and they only fit one way because of the way the little studs on the strips fit into the drive mounting holes a bit like a dell plastic drive caddy which is of higher quality

The provided usb cable is rather short and thick not very flexible

Like most external drive enclosures care must be taken never to drop or even just knock over this unit especially while the drive is running otherwise permanent physical damage to the drive mechanism is likely to occur
