I crimp cables regularly, if this is a one time thing i recommend the sellers suggestion of cat6 pre-made cable.

Cons

Eight months later the screen flickers and won't transmit a signal. Transmitter is way hot, have a 150 ft cable, didn't work, flashes picture then goes out. Worthless piece of equipment.

I am totally happy with this product in both quality and value.

The picture and audio quality is excellent - no different than when i was connected via hdmi cable.

As you can see from my pic, the quality is pretty good.

These worked perfect and were a great price.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was very good, out of the box, the unit(s) came up as expected.

Initially the audio was not working however, i used the edid copy function which enabled the hdmi handshake to occur and worked perfectly.

Once i discovered that, it works perfectly with cat6 cable.

I used it to connect cat5 cable from the back of my church to a projector in the front.
