All of the other adapters i tried require that the signal be converted from a displayport data packet protocol to the constant signal hdmihdv format

The only one i found that would carry the signal effectively is an hdmi cable no dp extensions

The sheer number of misleading products is astonishing many of them claim 4k but do not say at what refresh rate which means its 30hz
