This little hub works like a charm - quality build and robust.
Their support team was quick responding when i had a windows 10 driver issue - not related to the product.
In order to be productive i need 2 monitors so i purchased this product.

The cause of that frustration is the lack of communication on many of these devices

Ive noticed if i unplug and replug in it seems to go back to the settings i had

It does just that and the computers recognize them as 2 separate monitors

It does need power from a usb port and i was actually able to give it power through one of the ports on the monitor even though i never connected that monitor usb input to the actual computer
