Pros
The metal body is superb build quality, as well. As advertised and well made. Nice sleek package.
Even cheap, for the functionality, as the other options required replacing existing (older) high end av components. The pi's technical support is top notch. It took 5 minutes of setup.
This thing is highly recommendable. If you just need a simple downscaler without worrying or caring about hdr, this does exactly what you need it to.
Hdmi splitter passes through the 4k60hdr signal flawlessly to my tv, and smartly downsamples to 1080p60 to my hd60s. Using this splitter, i place it on the output of my denon receiver hdmi port going to my projector.
K apple tv and focal sound bar / sub. No issues when turning them on or off and no more resetting of the splitter. No noticeable loss in signal quality for either tv. Focal sound bar has just enough for my current setup.
Cons
All dip switch settings were set to zero to match my shield's 4k 60hz spec. On the tv's that are working well, it takes about 45 seconds for the screen to go from totally black to having a picture, this drives my wife crazy.

I'm very impressed, especially considering the price.
Not to mention i'm sure this might be the best upscale product you can get under $300
Spend a little more money for this and you get something that works well.

The cable box has no idea there is more than 1 tv hooked up and the signal displayed on all the tv's is the optimum signal for that tv.

On the old unit we had different brand anytime time wed cut one of the tvs onoff all tvs would do a long blink

My old yamaha av receiver only supported 4k passthrough at sdr 30p so i thought i would give this gofanco box a try

I would say its very easy to install but the problem is you first have to go into your video settings on your ps5 and set it to 2 on the video thingy option after that youll get hdr 4k
