Pros

Another classic irreverent discworld tale. It starts slow, picks up quickly, and the middle third really is the best part of the whole book. Books are best if read in order. And luckily goingmpostal is book 1 in that sub series.

Ankh-morpork's moist von lipwig goes from heel to heel. Groat and his medicinal aroma; stanley and his little moments; and the terrifying lord vetinari.

Stephen briggs narrates the book with a tongue-in-cheek tone. The book is narrated by a man with talent.

If you’re a fan of terry pratchett, this is not one to miss. We are slowly replacing our paperback collection with the hardback editions. It * to be in a world without terry pratchett in it.

Cons

Moist von lipwig is a crock that has been punished by becoming the head postmaster. The wit of terry pratchett is timeless and funny, but this book as a whole was missing the full package.

This is one of my favourite discworld novels so i decided to buy it when i saw the price.

Competitiveness

We both like terry pratchett and neil gaiman and this book was fun to listen to on a looong drive out east.

All with a great plot set in a delightful world.
