Pros

There’s a golem parole officer. The cat. Of course cats dictate terms to humans, but this cat takes the cake. Sometimes it's a little juvenile, but it all builds into a great story. Luckily goingmpostal is book 1 in that sub series.

Though he is blatant about his identity, he is amazed and bemused that people just keep lining up to be taken advantage of. He arranges that the clacks system that reacher gilt stole to be sort-of returned to her family.

What happens when you modernize the postal system on discworld? Another classic irreverent discworld tale. Another solid entry in this universe.

Going postal is the first moist von lipwig book. Adorabelle dearheart falls in love with moist. Moist's character is very much like morris the cat, in morris and his amazing rodents.

If you haven't read terry pratchett's discworld books, i recommend starting at the first book. Loved it. And it works beautifully!

Cons

Moist von lipwig is a crock that has been punished by becoming the head postmaster. The wit of terry pratchett is timeless and funny, but this book as a whole was missing the full package.
