If you ever wonder why the google pixel 4 and 4xl seems to get on sale in these times its simply that the phone will reach its end of life cycle on october 31th 2022

After october 31th 2022 the phone will not receive any new updates from google and in less than 1 year after reaching eol youll certainly loose access to lots of features as your nonupdated version will gets it access refused

At that point your only solution is to flashinstall a new os to your phone for example grapheneos or lineageos 19

The only thing that a eol google phone can do is use alreadyinstalled apps and be used for calls and texts so its not like you wont be able to use the phone at all without changing the os

Its ok for one day of normal use but if you forget to charge the device overnight you risk running out of power next day
