Pros & Cons
Pros
Event alerting happens almost instantly. The battery life is great so long as you create a custom activity zone. Video starts recording early, so nothing is missed.
This has a much larger field of vision and lets me know if there's a package at my doorstep. Dr. Seuss-like style. A google doorbell, sleek and fine.
Only downside is the battery is not removable. But if you don't have the ability/willpower to wire in solid power, this is still worth it.
Cons
Charging the battery requires removing the doorbell from the mounting bracket which is extremely difficult due to the poor mounting design. On the more battery life mode the battery on this lasts for about 6 weeks, not awful but not nearly whats adver... Read More
I have google home apps that i use and this never synced to my google home. The google home app is just overkill and clunky for just viewing the doorbell. The zones and notifications are a joke.
Google support once again says it's my wifi, despite solid wifi at point of use. I suspect it's a defective unit, or possibly a design issue. Have tried multiple times for help but keep blaming my own wifi.
In theory you slip the provided tool in between the doorbell and wall at the top of the door bell and it pops free. Neither sounded indoor chime. I just want a cheap little box that plugs into the wall and makes a “ding *’ sound.

Quality
The unit is well designed and wasn’t hard to figure out.
Easy to install, and google is great.
I had a ring video doorbell that lasted less than 2 years, and the video quality was poor.

Price
Wonderful to have with a great no fee app.
I had two of them installed by professionals so they are not inexpensive when you take this cost into account.
Competitiveness
