It’s super easy to use both via the app and via the unit itself. Easy to fit, replaces the old 3 event/7 day timers using the same wires. All instructions are provided to cover the different possible systems.

Cons

Not worth the hassle, buy another branded device. Buy from a local supplier who will sell you the complete package. Eventually got amazon to cancel the whole order for the nest and the installation.

Google tech support is pretty much worse than useless. The website seems to be deliberately designed to enable making a warranty claim as difficult as possible.

To get this to default to the nest app however is beyond painful, with numerous glitches, resetting, one app interfering with the other etc. The ios app is useless and keeps signing you out every time you log in. It is beyond annoying and i just canno... Read More
