Make sure you have a blue common wire on your current systemthermostat or this 200 device will cost you about double that for an hvac technician to come out and run the wires to the indoor and outdoor units

It let me know something was wrong with my ac i look at the history every day and saw it was way up which made me check things out and found ice all over my ac unit called the ac man and sure enough something was wrong

The device arrived and was easy to install not being tech savvy we had to set up a google account there should just be a way to set up nest account and link to alexa if desired
