Pros

Nest thermostat has the app which is convenient and allows you to control it too. An auxiliary lockout in the app can save on your electric bill. For me a compressor lockout at 20 degrees runs emergency heat if the temp outside is below 20.

It delivers remarkable value for its price and performs exceptionally well. It easily connects to our google system. It happens a lot.

The nlt lacks the ability to check its connection with the npc, adding uncertainty to unreliability. Rather, buy a more dependable thermostat with no known issues. The npc is google's acknowledgement that the nlt struggles without a c wire.

W5 error, wifi error, got a replacement from google. Restarted it and my router and still not resolved. Goes off-line constantly and will not reconnect to our wifi. Only solution is to physically go to the thermostat and do a reset.

After the honeymoon is over, buyer beware. The product is terrible, and their service is even worse.
