This means the thermostat is the only place that monitors the temp. This, in turn, means some rooms might get hotter or colder, if your hvac duct work was made incorrectly.

Product details state device incompatibilities of:1. It fails to mention this thermostat is incompatible with any system which is not a single-stage hvac system. This is an ongoing, unresolved issue even though they say your furnace is compatible.

There was spackle on the back of the main hookup. Countless hours wasted to no avail. Forget it--not for me.
