Pros

The fingerprint reader on the back is intuitive and fast, unlike pixel 6's which often did not work. Lots of convenient shortcuts and easy to use. If you don't want to spend around $1000 for a new samsung or iphone, pixel 4a is a good option.

This phone is very resposive and fast. This phone handles it all. Mint mobile phone service. Unlimited calling and texts.

Cons

After the android 12 upgrade, the phone's battery life only lasts 5-6 hours and heats really bad. My charging port is completely fried. It has a very weak data and wifi signal compared to my previous phone. Don't buy this phone.

The pixel 4a is strangely glitchy. For $489 on may 15, 2022, way overpriced. Not the components crucial for basic functionality apparently.

The screen is so sensitive to anything that will touch randomly in the pocket. The interface lacks those 3 navigation * (ie. Touching a 4 would select a 6, or clicking on a gmail app would open a reddit app) as there are no way to navigate without the... Read More

Great size, really good battery life, excellent camera (from my basic phone needs perspective).

The camera resolution is very sharp and clear and the phone has tremendous internal memory capacity.

5 years -> then battery swelled, and screen started popping off.

Sometimes the screen doesn't respond to touch; the only thing left to do is hold down the power button and wait for a total reboot.

Really didn’t want to spend $300ish but i wanted an unlocked phone.

I’m cheep and i’m not spending $1000 on a phone.
