The fingerprint sensor is in the screen and seems nice and accurate. The fingerprint scanner is also 90% reliable.

The screen is excellent, yes it's only hd+ but it's clear, sharp and bright enough. Hz refresh is good for anyone who is browsing or watching youtube videos on the side. Dual stereo speaker system with adaptive sound.

Cons

Fingerprint reader works 1/100 times. The fingerprint sensor is really unreliable. No face recognition (big step back for me) navigation gestures * and you can not change them.

Customer support is dire. Oppo are half the price and are just better phones. Unfortunately this phone is very temperamental if you use 02 or giffgaff networks!

The phone gets stupidly hot sometimes, most notably with video recording. Charging is abysmal, not only you don't get the appropriate or any wire or plug, but it is particular about fast chargers/wires i. E. Has deformed while on the phone.

Sound quality superb and bluetooth excellent .

So after one month ive found the phone to be of really good build quality performs very well speed wise .

The screen is superb, despite only being hd+ and the sound quality is great (also through the pixel buds).

With the pixel 6 you can finally say that about android.

So when my son’s pixel 2xl finally died last month and amazon had £100 off the price i jumped at it.
