Pixel 7a is what i had been wanting for awhile and it did not disappoint. The fingerprint reader is excellent, much better than my old galaxy. In the end, this phone works well for me, and is a keeper.

The phone is water-proof and can be submerged in water of up to 3 feet depth for up to half an hour. Charging is a bit slow because it throttles the current to improve battery life. The battery lasts a day most of the time.

Size is exactly what i was looking for. Researched online and selected 7a. Its an intellegent and attractive compromise, size, cost and features. Though a bit larger, it still fits nicely in pocket.

Most days i end up having to recharge it, because the battery falls to 25% with less than 24 hours of use. The battery lasts half a day, even as i've switched to very conservative battery settings.

The phone is very glitchy. Also, what is up with my google maps? The phone stops rotating view after a while. Returning the pixel 7a for refund shortly.

Google thinks, incorrectly, that a few lame youtube videos is a suitable substitute. Bluetooth all but non-existent. Too restrictive.
